Disaster Relief Mobile Kitchen Trailer
The Disaster Relief Mobile Kitchen Trailer (DRMKT) is a highly mobile, self-contained field feeding system engineered for rapid deployment during domestic emergencies and disaster relief operations. Originally fielded after Hurricane Katrina and certified for C-130, C-17, and C-5 air transport, the DRMKT serves as the primary mass-feeding capability under the U.S. National Response Framework (NRF).
Designed to deliver fresh, hot meals to first responders and affected communities, the DRMKT supports a wide range of feeding scenarios—from boil-in-the-bag rations to restaurant-quality meals. It has the capacity to serve up to 800 people per meal cycle and is easily towed by a standard heavy-duty pickup truck, making it a versatile and essential asset for emergency response.
